When a repair is not worth it
If the spend is above 70% of a similar new device, we usually advise against the repair. The decision stays yours.
After diagnostics we compare the spend with the price of a similar new device. Up to about 40%, a repair is usually reasonable. From 40% to 70% we decide with you. Above 70% it is often not worth doing. This is advice, not a ban. If you still want the repair, we can go on, and we write down why. Paid work does not start before you agree. “Not worth repairing” is a normal ending. You still collect the device, and it waits free for 30 days.
